Privacy policy

This page describes the personal data processing linked to https://calculdivorce.fr, under Articles 12 to 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.

2. What the calculator does not do

The calculation runs in your browser. Income, number of children, custody arrangement and family situation are not sent to any server, are not stored and are not linked to any identifier. The share link encodes your inputs in the address: only send it to people you choose.

3. Processing carried out

Server logs

The host records IP address, date, page requested, browser and referrer. Purpose: security and diagnostics. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: according to the host’s (GitHub’s) policy.

Analytics and advertising

The site currently loads no analytics tool and no advertising. If one is added, it will only run after your consent through a banner, and this page will be updated.

Messages

If you write to us, your address and message are processed to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: three years after the last exchange.

4. Recipients

No data is sold or shared. Only the host has access, as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.

5. Transfers outside the EU

The host, GitHub, Inc., is based in the United States; server logs may be processed there under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

Rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR): write to contact@calculdivorce.fr, reply within one month. You may complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr.

7. No automated decision

The calculator’s result is an estimate computed at your request, with no legal effect: it is not an automated decision under Article 22 GDPR.
